Well last week was a bit of a wash out running wise for me, for some unknown reason I had nearly a whole week of sleepless nights. I managed three 3k's and even they seemed a real struggle. This week things seem better, while still not having great nights significantly better than last week, so today I set off up the old railway line (Brampton Valley Way) for my second 5k of the week. The sun was shining and it was nice and quiet, just how I like it π . . . no records set but all in all a rather pleasant run . . . Happy running everybody πββοΈπββοΈππ
A steady 5 in the sunshine . . . : Well last... - Bridge to 10K
A steady 5 in the sunshine . . .
That railway looks as if trains still use it, the signal in the distance is up indicating that a train is due soon.
Well done for getting out despite the insomnia. Iβm with you on that - sometimes from 2 am onwards. Covid anxiety?π§
Thatβs a really interesting course and great photos. Keep on!!
Not sure why I'm having sleeping problems, no anxiety that I'm aware of. . .
Same here. Iβm quite laid back. Iβve been jabbed. Family concerns but not worries. Yet once awake, the imaginings take over. Strangely, if I get back to sleep by 5 am, I feel truly awful when I wake up again at, say, 7.30. Difficult to run after that.
There are some heavy sleepers on that line. π€ͺ
Very good! ππππ
Orangeguy that is a great route for steady distance, used it for my long Rins but a bit boring if used too often, and forget it at weekends to many people.
