Well, after a 11day lay off due to a non-running injury, I set off this morning to see how far I could run before it became uncomfortable.

I did a short steady 4.7k run on Weds to test the waters and all seemed OK but just before I reached the 8k mark this morning, I started feeling some discomfort from the injured shin. Err on the side of caution was the way to go!

Pleased to be back out there though πŸ€—

Happy running all πŸƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Hi Ted, saw your run..Well done.

Bit more ice and elevation?

Maybe short runs for a week or so while it mends properly?😊xx

Thanks Jan 😊 I’m icing when I can, the swelling has almost gone but tender around the bone at the impact area.

I’ll be out to do a shortish run on Monday , may even do intervals to see how it stands up πŸƒπŸƒ

Thanks Chris, I’d be lying if I said it was easy....surprising how you lose it even after 11days. Have to keep at it at my age....a case of use it or lose it! πŸ€—
