Thank you all so much for the advice on my last post, all your comments were really helpful and motivated me to get out there for a 5K today! A little bit slower than usual, especially in the sun 🥵, but I decided not to focus on time and just enjoy the run (letting myself slow down or take quick walk breaks when needed), and it worked 😊 I finished the run with a spring in my step, and the confidence to get back out there in a day or two!
P.s. thanks to everyone who recommended the Nike running club app, I loved the guided run today!

Well done for your 5K. Steady runs are great if you don’t want to put any pressure on yourself. That’s what I’m doing right now. Run steadily and finish strong if I can! 🏃♀️👍😊
Well done Newbie! I’m happy you enjoyed your run, and NRC too. I’ve been running for 3 years and only tried my first NRC run a couple of weeks ago, although the app has been on my phone since the start. 🤦♀️ Isn’t it fun? 👏
Hello, and what a nice post! Well done on your run, how fab to finish with a spring in your step 😊. I ❤️ the NRC, it’s kept me going on some hard runs, and there’s so many to choose from aren’t there! All the best 😊👏🏼🦶.
Firstly well done with c25k. Fir me just doing a 5k and enjoying it 2 or 3 times a week helped to consolidate and build strength. Finding new routes was also fun and then gradually extending distance. Essentially trying to keep enjoying it. Speed seems to get better too. Above all please enjoy your new addiction!
