I have been assiduously doing lower back exercises since Sunday and using a spiky ball (fantastic!)

My back was fine, my calves were fine. This time I had a bit of a niggle outside my left ankle.

I suppose I will get these as I work my way back.

45'15'' so not too bad. It seemed really slow for a long time (deliberately so for a while) so I was not disappointed. I will try my first 9K on Saturday but will stop earlier if I feel any pain.

Just keep an eye on those niggles...are you walking on your non run days? The walking days give me a chance to evaluate the state of my knees 😉

I only walk a mile in non running days. I have been doing some strength and flex but work has out paid to a couple of those days.

Well done on your comeback and good luck on Saturday! I hope you don’t have any niggles 👍🏻Spiky ball sounds interesting, I’ve got a home made massage tool for my calves made out of 2 tennis balls in a sock 🤣
