Been feeling ill this week (perhaps stress induced rather than an actual stomach bug).
I went out today and did 4K in 38 minutes. Not fast at all, but at least I got out.
My lower back is not enjoying life at the moment. I will keep stretching and rolling. I have never had back issues before, so it is a journey into the unknown for me. I can stretch fine, there is just a nagging ache when sometimes. It may be all that road running that has jarred my back. Although it may be my body reminding me it is my birthday at the end of the month and I am nearer to 60 than 55!
That 10K will have to wait til mid May now.

Speed doesn't matter, getting out there does! Too bad for the lower back pain though, that can be a nasty one. And it's very difficult to know what the cause is. Hope the stretching and rolling will help!
Sorry about your back problems...and the possible stress hassles.
Good that you got out and ran though! Maybe you need to stick to some short runs for a while...my knee was niggling, and I’ve tried a couple of short NRC runs plus a 5k...and then went out and ran a really enjoyable 6k on Sunday...and no knee after effects.
