Out this morning for first run of this week.

Hi all! Hope you are still enjoying your runs and of course this weather . I realise that the sun is taking a break,but it was still warmish while running. However hubby mentioned this am on letting dogs out into garden first thing 06.00ish that it was a tad bit chilly. So I put my running jacket on for the first time this year........ So that was a bit of a mistake! Starting off it was a bit chilly and wearing my jacket albeit thin was lovely and snug. However the snuggyness quickly turned to “ oh god got to take this jacket off before I collapse in a swealtering heap😩😡🤪”!!! so I quickly wrapped it round my waist and off I continued hoping it wouldn’t end up around my ankles hee! hee!

It was a nice run, a couple of power walks super.

So I did notice that the blackberries are pushing through the hedgerows and there is a sense and smell of autumn just around the corner,beautiful.

I saw a couple of walkers and that was about it. Our village is so quiet even when the kids are off. So there is much excitement and anticipation to be had when on a Tuesday the bin men arrive,the post van rocks up and that’s it really apart from the occasional oil wagon.Oh it’s bliss! ha!.

Talking about the bin men I managed to get out and back to my door just as they were coming down our lane so that was great timing and there was no stopping and starting from me,which sometimes can happen if I’m running the same way as they are going.

Anyway A lovely run was had by me and a scrummy breakfast awaited me cooked by my darling hubby !👨‍🍳

Looked for you Flick but didn’t see you? Mind you I had forgotten to mention about the run and remembered when I came back so I wouldn’t have seen you🤣🤣

Yes Dexy the new Brooke’s are defiantly serving me well. Their so much better thanks. They are so comfy. It was a lovely run and yes it was a lovely hot brekkie!😋😋 I am indeed a lucky gal!

On Saturday I’ll be running Parkrun Southsea st 9.00 with some virtual running buddies who graduated c25k in May and June. That will be fun.

Glad you had a good run, Peggy. Autumn is definitely on its way, but I think I’ll still be running in just shorts and a T-shirt for a while longer. 😊🏃‍♀️❤️

Good morning mountainfdreamer, yes it was lovely thanks. I think I may do the same too. Not the shorts though as I didn’t manage to getting any this year but I do run in my capris so their like shorts sort of.
