Yes you read that correctly!! I wanted to let you know after much deliberating and trying to get myself back running with long Covid symptoms, I have committed to doing C25K again and hoping in 9 weeks I will be back running 5k. 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️
This afternoon I completed Week One, Run One!! I just couldn’t bring myself to restart my C25K app as I didn’t want to lose my history, means so much to me therefore, I am just replaying the runs from each week and taking a picture of the message on screen saying I have completed the run!
It felt wonderful to be back out there and safe having the support of the app. All went well and thankfully I did not experience any chest tightness, which I had been when trying to do it on my own, so this is me starting again 🐻🐾🐢 🐌 🐻🐾🐢 🐌 🐻🐾🐢 🐌 🐻🐾🐢 🐌 !!!
I must admit I did shed a tear after completing it 😢😢 Although I won’t be able to run the Vitality 10K in May as I had planned to do when I ran my last 10k on 30th December, hopefully I will be running 5k again, which will be sooooooooooo amazing 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️.
