A stranger wore my running clothes!

My bright pink shoes, my bright pink jacket, my leggings with the hole in the calf...all worn by a stranger who drove to the local park and ran their first 10k...hang about! That stranger was me!

An entirely different person from the one who embarked on a running journey five months ago, with that first step of the C25K programme.

A fitter person, a happier person, a stronger person, a much more injured person!

And the keystone in all of this has been all of the wonderful support on this forum, so thank you so very much for being with me on this journey.

Happy running!

Just be careful starting out with them if you're serious about that.

in reply to nowster

Thank you for the advice, I would like to try them out one day to see how they feel but not sure they’ll be my thing

Tip: sometimes they come up on Amazon Wardrobe which allows you to try them for size at home with free returns. Your longest toe should be barely¹ touching the end of the end of the shoe. They don't go by normal shoe sizes.

¹ Pun intended.

Lol I thought someone had stolen your clothes at first! Well done to that complete stranger who turned out to be you 👍😀👏🏼.

in reply to Frenc

At this point of the pandemic I wouldn’t say clothes theft is off the cards!!! 🤣

Now you just need to learn how to wrangle it casually into as many conversations as possible! ( as said by someone this morning. So true!)

in reply to Mormor1

Definitely! 😄

Me too ! 😁 5 of the ladies I work with have completed C25k on my recommendation, I bought each of them a medal🏅 to mark the occasion 😊🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️
