So 18 months on and a second pair of shoes. Other things I have learned from this site...how to use Strava ( free), how to use Spotify ( free), there's a theme! Working on Audible. Thanks to whoever mentioned Brooks shoefinder and the person who mentioned getting last season's stock on sale. These were ยฃ50 cheaper than first pair. Didn't want to go to a shop...2 hour return trip so followed more advice on this site about sticking to same brand and they fit fine. And after first run they got me below 10 minutes ๐๐๐ข๐ข. Not that keen on pink but rarely meet anyone so all good ๐

Brilliant lessons learnt, 18 months is a great length of time for your shoes to last, I'm looking at replacing mine after just 6 or 7 months and of course they wont be reduced๐ช I wonder if I run really slowly I can eek them out a bit longer. Enjoy those lovely new Brooks. Happy running ๐ค
