11°C (feeling like 7), sun and no more icy roads. My run felt as if I was in heaven! This is thé most perfect weather. Ditched the body warmer, cap and gloves. Did still wear my winter running leggings and a fleece long sleeved shirt which I also still needed against a chilly wind. But really, this is thé most perfect running weather 💖
Did have to avoid some serious mudpatches, but luckily that was only on 3 spots. Everywhere else was nice clean running road. Lots of people out of course, which is a bit annoying to run between, certainly in these Covid times. Therefor the icy weather was handy, haha.
Anyhow the weather must have been good for me cus I apparently ran a tad faster (6,6 km/h vs 6,4 km/h) and yet it felt good. Thursday is another 30 min run and Saturday will be my second 45 min run. Can't wait!!
Sounds like it's going well! More than a "tad" faster in my book. It would be over a minute off of your 5k time- There are a lot of us who would be very happy with that.- and that includes people dodging- you're doing better than you give yourself credit for!.
Well done your making progress in the right direction. Good time as well. 8degrees at 7 am here in Scotland it was good for running no frost and ice . Keep it up😀
Mud I got too, you should see me jumping at some spots to avoid the deepest mud-spots. I always think, if anyone sees me they will have something to tell their friends. They saw the idiot of Edenpark (the park where I run)!
