5th week of my 5-week Running and Workout Plan coming up!

After getting really confused in the last week of my plan, after replacing one week with another, putting the long run in the middle and the rest & roller day to the day where I felt completely exhausted and not up to running, but also after exploring what it’s like to run to Bach and Prokofiev and Holst, experiencing my first dusk run, and after exploring the wonderful and funny voices of Runkeeper ... I have finally reached end of week 4.

And I’ll have to wait to after this week for getting to know the other voices on Runkeeper.

Because up next week is:

- 💃🏽a quite (too?) energetic La Bomba workout, which I’m sure is too much for me but I will try anyway. This will be the last of the NHS 40 min dance workouts, so I’ve actually worked my way through the whole NHS portfolio of aerobic online workouts! Is there a badge for this? But there are still Pilates and Yoga workouts.

- 🧟‍♀️ a return to the Zombies, Run! app, continuing the story of runner 5 (yes, that’s me... or you ... or anyone joining us in Zombies, Run!). And I have figured out, if I do one Zombie run per week, I should be able to unlock the next missions week by week. And there are 8 seasons of 20 - 40 episodes each, so that should keep me living the exciting runner 5 life.

🥊 And I will for the first time run with NRC‘s Shy LaBeau guiding me on a 60min audio run.

Upwards and onwards to a new set of running experiences!

🤣🤣I’m not sure Garmin and Zombies mix. And I still use my iPhone for all tracking. Have not yet upgraded to Garmin (xmas?).

I love how dedicated you are to all the areas of fitness. The Zombie runs sound fascinating.. although I'm definitely too scaredy cat for that 🤣

Thank you. It might not be dedication but rather sheer panic of dropping the ball. That plan will have to keep me straight and keep me running! 😅😅

Well you're going the right way about it 😊 the more I read the more I realise how a weakness in any part of your body seems to be able to cause an injury in any other part of your body!

Ah! So true and just remembered that I need to add knee workouts to all my workouts. Talking about balancing various parts of my body. ✔️

Thanks 😊 I have to admit I still rather joggle along, but so do the Zombies! They also have discovered that Japanese Slow Running Zombies run longer! 🧟‍♀️😅🏃🏻‍♀️

Go you!💪🏻👏👏👏😄 That’s an impressive fitness regime. I had no idea that the NHS do such things. 😄

Yeah, it’s a real treasure trove on their website and I think the workouts they have chosen for the website are well thought through, with warmups and cool downs, and appropriate to a wide range of fitness levels.

W5 D4✔️ ran almost 6k yesterday on Halloween 👻 . I had hoped for rain, as I was reading about so many runners having so much fun in wet weather!

But once I got out, rain stopped, it still was muggy, so run was slow and felt tired.

But ran almost 6k.👍🏽

W5 D5✔️ La Bomba! Ok, I don’t manage to hold the same level of energy that Chloe does, but I still manage to work up at sweat 💦! All good and fun (🤫 as long as nobody sees me going half speed compared to Chloe!)
