🧟♂️ Short report from this Runner 5, who is well into LEJOG’s Devon, and found it full of zombies!!!
🎹 I managed to avoid zombies this morning by running to Prokofiev’s Piano Etudes for 45 minutes. Especially Prokofiev’s “Suggestion Diabolique" (Op. 4 No.4) was really fun to run to and fitted to the Zombie thrills.
📻 And I finally listened to Radio Abel, with Jack and Eugene who chat and joke between playing your own tracks (Spotify or iTunes), which provides for some hilarious combinations. Thus for instance they reminisce about how the last track reminded one of a first kiss 💋 , whereas my last track was an angry rendition of a Prokofiev’s storm on a piano! 🤣🤣
Happy running everyone!

Interesting run with Lejog and avoiding the Zombies, I will admit that I am not familiar with Prokofiev's Piano Etudes, I am happy that you enjoyed running to that music, well done, onwards and upwards 🏃🏾 👍.
Yes. I didn’t realise how fun Radio Abel was, as I had set it to automatically continuing with the next story mission. But it’s almost it’s own story line!
Great running CBDB. 👍🏻 Glad to hear the zombies haven’t got you. 😄
I like the sound of the Prokofiev, I’ll have to try those.
Sometimes I like using Beethoven’s symphony no. 7 at the start of a run - such a brilliant gradual build up!- Although the last time I tried to use it, I was on the beach and couldn’t hear it over the wind and waves! 🙄😂
Going great with your LEJOG challenge CBDB. Nothing better than a podcast or in my case music that we love to run to.
My playlist is full of mostly fast paced dance music. But my dad had said something about listening to ' chariots of fire ' through earphones and I was amazed how great it sounds. 😊😊
I like Kije, Alexander Nevsky and the Classical Symphony but besides them I've not listened to much Prokofiev. If those are good for running I'll try them next. Thanks for the tip.
Well done CBDB aka Runner 5.....glad to here you managed to outrun those zombies again and live to run another day. 🧟♂️ My next mission is to rescue a small child, but I’m not a fan of small children, so she can wait until next week 😜 Radio Abel is great fun to listen too as you make your way home at the end of the run 👍
