Had my day of rest today, which is starting to be really hard! I see all these lovely online pictures by runners and all I think is that I really, really want to run that! Holiday destinations? Is there a running route close by! Business trip, could I manage a run in the morning. Some space on my smart-phone? Running apps!
Anyway, I’m ready for week 2 of my 5-week running plan.
Although completely hooked into the running life, I’m still a beginner, still ultra-slow. But like child in a toy-shop, I delight in exploring this new sense of self and a new perspective of the world around me. The toys are my newfound abilities to run, to workout and to - surprising to me - get better at my age!
I delight in this and wish everyone on here the same amount of delight!
Talking about delights, tomorrow: Belly Dancing!

Thank you! I might switch things around a bit but for the 5k I feel I still need a bit of a security blanket, so I generally make only a small change like switching voices.
But who knows, I might just start fancing his voice after the 30 min runs! 😆
Here the link below to my review post. And yes, even uncoordinated me got a rather surprising positive response from my husband. 🤣 healthunlocked.com/strength...
In the link below to my review post, I put my review and all the links! Go for it! You’ll see the effect it had on my husband 🤣🤣🤣 healthunlocked.com/strength...
W2 D2✔️ Just another run. Yesterday, so here a belated tick (because I am so needy for completion ticks 🤣) My write-up about running with Coach Bennett is here: healthunlocked.com/bridgeto...
W2 D3✔️ Str & Flex with Laura. Really nice to return to her and experience progress. Calf stand-ups with raises feel more stable. I also put up a bar indoors which functions as railings. Set for the winter as this will be ( I think) my go to easy workout.
W2 D6✔️ 5k run. Had some issues with music but once sorted, ran on. Rainy day, so had 2 T-shirt on, one longsleeve and a sleeveless hoodie. Raincap. Perfect.
