First post grad run

Completed my first post grad run this morning. I used WK9R3 from the app to help me through the first 30 mins running and then ran a few more minutes. I found the app useful and will continue to use it to start my run until I've built more stamina and am confident of completing the first 30 mins.

Well done, and that’s a great idea. The familiarity of the app is nice, but you’ll soon find you won’t need it. Happy running. 😀

Great idea, it's helpful to have the app at the beginning of consolidation. Look forward to reading more on your progress 🙂

Congrats on your recent C25K graduation and on getting your first post grad run done. Before you know it you wont need Laura or the App anymore. Just get used to running for 30 mins/5K for 3 times per week for a few weeks. Welcome to the Bridge to 10K. It is just a bridge, I've crossed it loads of times but mostly hang out around the 5K side of the bridge and every so often cross half way over. This is a lovely friendly place to hang out and ask questions. You don't have to be a 10K runner to hang out here. I'm currently training again myself to get back up to 10K. Happy running and welcome again.

Well done, and yes, I had initially also 3 comfort blankets:

1) podcast / app with Jo Wiley

2) my route that lasted exactly 30 min by week 9

3) my specific music Spotify list

And during the first 5 consolidation runs I always kept at least one of those while exploring the others: first a new music playlist, then using runkeeper instead of the podcast/app and then finally a new route!

I still use my old route when I’m trying something new 😉.

Have fabulous fun running free! And enjoy! 🏃🏻‍♀️
