Something went in my back this morning during my Pilates class. Thank goodness I was in class in person and not online. My physio-Pilates instructor stopped me immediately, named the muscle which went (I canβt remember what he called it) and gave me some very gentle cool down moves to do before sending me home with RICE and gentle exercise advice.
Guess thatβs me out of action for a few days then..... π just as Mymojo had returned too π. Progress on The Magic Plan and LEJOG is going to be on pause, but it is what it is.
On the bright side, Iβm also going to need to delegate a few household chores to my family ....... π.
Oh noooooo! After all your wonderful advice to me on pain and injury this happens to you. Make sure you do the exercises and let your muscle heal. Thank goodness it is not a disc! I am going to try and catch up with you on Lejog as you are miles ahead of me.
I have seen my physio and she has recommended myofascial release massage which I am off to try this pm. Can highly recommend βThe Fallβ on Netflix if you want something to take your mind off it.
So sorry to hear that D-d - my back goes periodically and it can be excruciating! But fortunately it doesnβt seem to be affected by running - just everything else! I hope it heals soon and in the meantime make sure the family are well employed!
Oh sorry to hear that Delly-dot. Take it easy and enjoy the rest, you will be back fighting fit soon π
Oh Delly! Here's to a quick recovery and then back on with all the foundations you had put in place. Rest up while you can and you'll come back with extra bounce! π
Ouch! Sorry to hear this Delly, big hugs for a speedy recovery, maybe your Mojo wanted a slightly longer rest π take good care π€π€π€
Oh that sounds painful so sorry to hear this. As you say it was a good job it was a live class and not on line. I'd definitely make the most of handing out those household duties π
Thank you π. I shall pootle along slowly on the route and add my dog walks when Iβm able. Keep up with your journey, youβre doing brilliantly π€
