Four weeks of no running ,plenty of googling and carrying out re-hab stretches for calf muscle injury followed by sangria and swimming in spain and today I was able to have a gentle run/trot .

It felt so good to be out again. I decided to take MJ with me and repeat week four of C25K to gently get back into it. No pain 😊.

Its remarkable that even with a four week break my breathing felt comfortable and my legs remembered what to do without any drama. Im going to take it slowly (injury is so frustrating) and enjoy trotting for a while 😀

Well done you. I wonder what I’ll be like after 12 weeks on the IC ....☹️🙄

Glad to see you are out there again and take it easy!!!

Well done Amanda!! Big hugs xx

Latest from my physio is somewhere between another 4-6 weeks for me.

So about 2 months on the IC and the prospect of starting pretty much from scratch.

Not sure how i feel about that tbh.

But good for you for getting your trainers on babe xx

Oh no so long such a shame I feel your disappointment😬

My calf still feels tight especially wearing flat shoes so Im going to have to be really careful no long runs for a while.

Keep your chin up 😘😘

Well done Amanda, if it’s any consolation, you’ve missed a pretty hot humid time for running so you are coming back to much fresher days.

Do keep up your calf strengthening exercises on your rest days. I really notice it if I forget or don’t get round to it.

Have fun being back out there again 🏃‍♀️👏

That’s great news Amanda! I’m so pleased for you. The sangria seems to have worked! Cheers!
