Photo taken after a long, strenuous slog up a steep hill - worth it for the view and mindful minute of listening to the birdsong. Weather at 7am was dry, a bit overcast but also humid so got a bit red in the face! π₯΅
I am back to school three days a week plus writing reports etc at home, so pleased to get in two runs this week (10k and todayβs 12k). Strength work has fallen by the wayside though!
Happy running π

Lovely photo sue - well done on your run.π I also work in a school - it's a very different place at the moment but lovely to have more children back now. We are up to 4 keyworker classes and 6 x Year 6 classes. Strange days indeed. Take care. π
Goodness, you have a lot of children in Schools are the weirdest places minus the small ones... many near me are still only occupied by the children of key workers...Stay safe you xx
We are a three form entry Junior School Oldfloss, so have only extended to our Y6's (although we did have 4 x Year 6 classes prior to Lockdown, as it was a big year). We are lucky to have huge grounds so have zoned off 10 different play areas for the 10 classes! Our amazing HT is hoping to accomodate one more keyworker bubble from next week - as parents return to work we are getting more requests! The whole thing must have been a logistical nightmare to work out for the SLT but all the bubbles and staggered times are working well so far! Don't mention September though...π€·ββοΈx
Great effort up that hill in humid weather, fantastic photo. I'm glad you are still managing long runs along with juggling the current mixed bag of teaching methods. Happy running π€
Thank you, I was grannytobe for my 1st 7 months of running until 1st grandson was born just before lockdown so a new name had to be found, who would have known I was then only to be able to send virtual hugs for so long π€£π€
What a beautiful view! Very rewarding - even if you went up sideways at the end! Good luck going back in to school 3 days a week & with the reports. You'll need the runs for sanity if nothing else! I'm half way through this year's lot of 121 reports & still remote teaching but I think school might fully open for the last 2-3 weeks. It's a very different place though...
Just wonderful... and what a glorious run and a glorious view... you are really enjoying your Sunday running. I am trying to get back to the longer runs , but taking it slow and steady
Glad that you are getting your runs in despite being back in school
