Easy (pace) like Sunday morning

Really enjoyed yesterday’s very wet stay-at-home day, lots of jobs and sitting done 👍. Nice though to wake up today to bright sunny morning so up and out! Different route to avoid expected flooded paths of usual way, no headphones 🎧 in (🤫) and decided to go at a nice comfortable pace and off on adventure towards Rugby Club. Not many out, perhaps saving themselves for the ‘Guild Wheel’ Marathon. Thought about perhaps going a bit further and making this a longer run as I’ve done 2x 5K this week but, nope, happy with my new found 5K route and ended up with a reasonable consistent pace (without being constantly reminded en route). Home to bacon and mushroom barm made by hubby. Happy girl, happy Sunday morning. 🏃‍♀️😊

Thanks. Struggled a couple of weeks ago after a couple of 10Ks, think got a bit hung up on numbers, but this last week I’ve done what feels right and really enjoyed my runs. Thinking about taking a peak at slowly building up to 10 Miles 😱

Love this. Your experience will show you the way. 10 miles is my absolute favourite distance. You can really do this too. I'd not worry about numbers. They can be dealt with other times or on shorter runs. Build long slow runs where you feel comfy. Do a few 7's then if you feel good, go for 10. You can do it. Run relaxed and steady 😊

Great advice 👍 Thought I might try a 13K in a week or so and build from there if all ok. It’s finding the route as they get longer 🤣
