It’s getting a bit late so I think the title says most of it! We’ve now done 3/4 of the 10mile Run in 1hr:32 and I could have gone further but my running buddy was on empty from the start and had to stop with cramp in her side. That’s our last long run done! I’m pleased with my pre-run hydration and nutrition (largely consisting of bananananas), my kit, my lacing setup, and socks are sorted, and yet I also had chafing for the first time running - highlighting areas requiring Vaseline on the day 🤣
I went for a meal out afterwards with my parents, as I’m lucky they are still about, and refuelled on tea and fruit salad - even though there was hot brownie on offer??? 🤪 When did I ever look at the fruit option on a menu and genuinely want it 🤔🤔🤔 Never. What’s happened to me? 🤣🤣👏👏👏🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♀️
