Had a wonderful run in glorious sunshine this afternoon. Despite everything it is a truly ‘good to be alive’ day with spring literally bursting at the seems everywhere you look. Thank goodness we still have the joy of running. It’s been a long winter and we must enjoy (safely of course), all nature’s glory whilst we can. To top it all I saw my first Swallow! I should add that I’m in Cheshire so those of you further south may already have seen some? Incredible really how nature is just carrying on regardless. The simple things in life truly are the most enjoyable (including running of course) so soak in the miracles of nature this week everyone.

I haven't seen any Swallows yet but usually its my husband that spots them.
I have been seeing 2 Buzzards lately when out walking the dog and yesterday 3 ducks flew by me just above head height , I couldn't believe how close they were . I love animals of all kinds but somehow at the moment I think we appreciate them even more 😊
Brilliant!😄 I’m further north & haven’t seen one yet, - even though yesterday’s cycle ride was a trip out to a bridge where a colony nest. Any day now....(ditto the avocets!)
