A gorgeous morning for a joffle along the seafront but in good social isolating fashion I got up early (for me!) and was on the way before 7 (and appear to have received a Garmin early riser badge for my efforts!). I don’t usually see many people when out early but of course everyone has the same idea and it was busy! Most runners seemed to be keeping left so there wasn’t the usual weaving in and out
and meant we could stay our 2 mtrs apart. We still had to avoid walkers of course but it was generally ok. But when the clocks change at the weekend I think it’ll be an even earlier start! That’s the forwards part - I was out and running, yippee! Now for the backwards bit - it took me 54 minutes to do 5.13km. So, happy to have run 5km for the first time in ages but crumbs, I’m getting slower! At this rate I’ll be going in reverse before long! Ah well, it’s a gorgeous morning for a joffle along the seafront😎

Hey oldgirl time is irrelevant you got out there, it was a gorgeous morning and a Garmin badge as well that's Wednesday VaVaVoom well done 👍👍
Thank you Ian - you’re right, it doesn’t matter and I’m sure I’ll get back to my ‘faster’ slow pace eventually! And who doesn’t like a bit of VaVaVoom in their life! Happy running!
I swear I’m in the same boat Oldgirlruns, getting slower, but how amazing are we? we can run 5k and for the UK so much to look forward to with the clocks changing. A well run 5k. Keep safe. 🏃♀️
We were always told it's not about speed it's about getting the run done and you did and I bet you're much happier for getting out. Stay safe and keep running 😊😊
🐌🐌🐌🐢🐢🐢 all welcome here. It must have been lovely out there. I keep smiling at runners knowing we are in a special club, and feeling glad that it’s still ok.
I wish I could have run 2m behind you. But I have a FaceTime with my physio today (no more face to face appointments) so hopefully I will be put on the right track.
