🍏 Fragrant Runs

Running in Suburban Miami brings the delightful scents of exotic plants as I brush past them in the early morning. Enormous trees give much needed shade as it’s hot and humid despite being winter.

A gentle 3K round the block leaves me wet and the sun is barely up. However what a joy to be in my trainers, taking in the beautiful surroundings & passing local runners. 6months ago this would not have been me! Thank you C25K I am forever grateful for this gift!

Oh lovely! Our daughter spent years in the Keys & we always visited in February. Lovely month there - lovely month to be out of England! 😄 I wasn’t a runner then; lucky you. Happy running. 🏃🏼‍♀️🌴 Have breakfast outdoors for me!

I’m looking out at wind, rain and cold temperatures. The poor daffodils 🌼 are trying to come up but they don’t know what they are in for. I know where I would rather be. Happy running.

Oh you lucky thing, i put my running kit on and that’s as far as i got it’s cold and breezy out there, we will run but sometimes i wonder why

Yes I must admit I feel very grateful to have some respite from that rain & wind!! The forecast doesn’t look too good for our return to the NE next week either!

That discipline of putting the kit on regardless, is sometimes the only thing that gets one out the door. However I did cave in once or twice when those winds were high speed! We are so fortunate to have each other on this forum. The support & camaraderie keeps us all going through all sorts of things!! 😍
