After a hard week I had talked myself out of a long run on saturday, then the announcement that I would be going into tier 4 just pushed me further down in mood, I was so fed up I even went to bed early 10pm😂Anyway, woke up at ridiculous o'clock, 5.30 and because I was so bored by the time it got light I put my running gear on and off I went, didnt know where or what distance.Decided to run 10k,however part way through music went off(forgot to charge it🙊)So I ran home and was delighted to discover that I had run just under 9 miles😄So glad I went out, feel loads better now!!

Wow that’s brilliant !! Similar experience here - tier 4 blues - though the park and roads were lovely and quiet when I set out I thought ‘this is more like it !!’ - but the park was full by the time I’d finished - quite frightening crowds in the children’s playground !!!! 😱just broke the 9 mile barrier for the first time. Feeling v pleased and double justification for eating extra mince pies.

Well done for getting out Queenie. Running will get us through tier 4 blues.

The answer to that question is always ‘run’ as far as I’m concerned!🙂👍 That’s unless I’m injured of course😊

A 9 mile run is a fantastic effort! That’s about 14.5 K if I’m right (not necessarily the case🤣)

Well done, keep going and keep enjoying the therapeutic effects of running!😀

9 miles, brilliant. The good news story of you moving into tier 4. By Easter you’ll be running half marathon distance 🤣 happy running 🤗

Where would we be without running to help our poor heads in these rubbish times. Sounds like a good run despite running out if music (something I struggle with in the best of times). Happy running Queenie17. I hope you manage to have some sort of Christmas cheer.
