It's still a bit blustery here in Kent but nothing like yesterday. The sun is shining so off I went for the 3km run of Ju-ju's magic plan. There was a fair bit of debris from yesterday's storm, branches etc, that had come down, and one section of flooding on a side road - was useful for cleaning mud off my shoes on the way back! 😂

Great run, I'm glad I went out yesterday as we have snow today brr. Love your positive spin on the flooding 🤣 happy running

Well done on getting out there. It is strange and in truth quite interesting seeing the remnants of yesterday's "action", though when I look at the news I see we got off lightly round here. I enjoy the variation in the weather, though we are lucky, seeming always to get the polite version of it.
We had a couple of power cuts yesterday and I heard that a few big trees had come down, roads blocked etc. But got off lightly compared to some places.
The worst I saw around here was some pedestrian barriers around roadworks had been blown over. Although on my way home on my Sunday walk there was already someone in a fluorescent jacket putting them back up - on a Sunday - in the midst of a storm?! 😍
On the news I saw someone driving a Mercedes was killed by a falling tree. If you're not even secure in probably one of the safest cars on the road, I will not worry about being outside on foot!

Great you got out Debston and the flooding part came in handy to clean your shoes , win win😁😁😁
🤣you made me laugh. So impressed with your run in this horrid wind!!

Still windy but good to know you got out and ran, glad i’m not the only one splashing in puddles/flood water to clean my shoes

Good on you Debston for going out and braving the weather! I’ve been lucky to miss it so far!Well done you! 🤩 ❤️

Jealous, really fancied a run in the sun but still resting with the foot problem 😎
