Hello. I’ve run three 10ks now. One a week for the past three weeks. Took it gently. Best time 11:40 per mile. But feel good. Could I have a 10k badge please?

That's great! Speed is secondary to stamina, taking it gently helps to keep building on the stamina. Well done 👍🏻😁

Ran my first 10k by accident on the 3rd Feb in 54:25 (went out to do a long run of 7k but felt great and just kept going). Realised it was probably the furthest and longest I've ever ran in my life. Week later did one on the treadmill but really struggled and ran it so it took exactly 59:59. Did another 10k on the treadmill this Monday in 57:54 which I ran all the way through but found really tough. Feel like I would benefit from running some 7.5ks and time to get outside and off the treadmill! Thanks for the advice in here

Brilliant! Well done! Yes, you'll definitely find it easier to reach 10k outdoors with all the benefits of fresh air and surroundings, rather than slogging it out on the mill! 👍🏻😁

I love the fact that you ran to 10K by accident! I love it when I still feel great after completing the planned distance and feel able to carry on! I ran 11.2K today (half marathon long run training), the furthest I've ever run and I even had the energy to pick up my pace in the last few hundred metres!
