Hi Damienair, posted in crossing the bridge earlier today.
Just got back from my first ever 60minutes plus! sooo very thrilled with myself, last week my long jog was 50mins, but my legs were feeling great so I thought lets go for it. I managed 8km in 1.07hrs, so a steady plod for me. I'm feeling so much better with the cooler weather, really can't cope with jogging in the heat. I'm determined to get to 10k but will stick with 60mins as long run for now. regards to all. PS Can I get a badge for 60mins please?
Yahoo. Excellent running and very well done on your 10K run. As a member of The Crossing The Bridge Gang I am very proud to give you a lovely shiny new medal π .
Back from my first 60 minute run! Nowhere near doing 10k in that time, and felt a bit wobbly towards the end, but I'm happy at a snail's pace and still chuffed
I keep asking in the wrong place for my graduate10 badge. I completed my first 10k in March last year just before lockdown. Since the I have run many 10ks in training and completed the Great Bristol 10k in 52:23 which I am very proud of. I hope I have come to the right place now.
Please can I have a 10k badge. I completed the Liverpool Rock n Roll race yesterday. My first ever 10k π, it was a very slow time of 1:28 according to my phone and there were walkers on my heels but I'm absolutely delighted. π
I've been following the 5k to 10k app, which has been fab - structured runs that mix distance with intervals. I completed Run 3 of week 8 yesterday, which is 60 minutes running non-stop. Woo hoo! Just a bit miffed that I was aiming for 8k and got to 7.94 km... 60m short... hey ho... onwards and upwards...
Hi damienair. I finally reached 10k today! My time was 1 hour 23 minutes which Iβll gradually try to improve. Pretty chuffed that I did it at all though!
