Today I ran 10 km, slowly in 80 min, and I didn’t stop. I feel strong today and happy to be able to do this ever.

Good morning!

I haven't posted in a while but continued running all the time.

Love reading your advise and the experiences from all of you!

I did my first 10K in November 2021 and felt really accoplished about it. It was a turning point for me, I didn't think I could. Running has changed the way I look at things, it's definitely really good for my mental health, I am so glad I discovered this during the lockdown.

Now I keep running and swimming and considering maybe to attempt a HM at the end of the year...who knows?

Thanks very much for the badge!

All the best to everyone in their running journey :-)

Hello all, clocked up my 1st over 60 minute run today 😊. It was actually 1:10:45 with a 3-5 minute warm up cool down walk either side. I managed 8.69km including the walking warm up/cool down and 180 meters of elevation πŸ€ͺ all the elevation comes at the end due to living on the side of a big hill! I'm really pleased with myself which is a very unusual thing for me say. C25k, parkrun and b210k have been amazing in getting going and keeping me going in the right direction. πŸ™Œ

Fantastic running and congratulations on your first 60 minutes and beyond run. Yes I agree, same for me, especially parkrun, if it wasn't for parkrun I don't know if I would be still running. Happy Running.

Completed my first 60minute run earlier this week. It was 60 min 33 seconds and followed two days after a run of 57 minutes. I am a really slow runner at the moment so the next step is to increase speed rather than length of time. I use the Decathlon Coach app for running. πŸ˜€

Very well done and congratulations on your 60 minute run. Your never slow, you can run for 60 minutes and that is amazing. Happy running and new badge for you. Have a lovely weekend.

Good morning. Well I completed the 10k London winter run yesterday in 1 hour 22 minutes. This is a great time for me as I only started C25k mid September 2021. Loved the run and could have carried on. Hope this will be the first on many to come

Today is my runniversary. Last year on February 21 I huffed and puffed along for one minute segments in W1 R1. :-) Today I started week 8 of Ju-Ju's truely Magic Plan on the time variant, did the long run first, ran for a bit over 60 minutes and managed my first 9k, without huffing and puffing. YAY!

Thank you C25K and Bridge to 10k community for being what you are! <3

Off to 10k now. <3

9k yay! Ran for an hour.

Excellent and congratulations on your 1st year running anniversary. Brilliant running and I'm sure I'll be swapping this new badge for a 10K badge very soon. Happy running.

Hello all,

Tonight I finally completed my first 10k! I am beyond happy with this and have started to enjoy the longer runs more than the shorter ones so I would like to keep this up and consolidate for a few weeks 😊

Fantastic running, huge congratulations to you for reaching 10K. So many people try to start C25K and fail to finish. Getting to 10K is a wonderful achievement. Enjoy your longer runs and very well done. New badge for you!

Well done! 80 minutes is great for your first 10km.

It's now a little over a year since my first one. It's now my favourite distance.

I've just run over an hour for the first time in my life. I think nearer 8k than 10k but still for my age nearly 65 I'm proud

nowster profile image
nowsterGraduate10β€’ in reply tosuegrace

My first hour run was exactly 8km too. If you keep adding an extra 5 minutes to it each week or two, you'll soon get to 10km.
