Hello, I don't often post on here anymore but have kept on running! To celebrate my first full year of running I have ordered this lovely medal, it's a great way to celebrate how far I have come this year :)

You're right it is a great way to celebrate and remind you of all the hard work and great runs. Congratulations 😊😊

Excellent idea, and that's a very nice looking medal.

It is isn't it? They make them at a local (to them) craft centre. Very unique looking too!

What a fantastic medal, never seen that before. Will store away in the recesses of my mind for my anniversary, and family member anniversaries too. Have a great 2020

Thank you Granytobe, and you too have a great 2020!

I think they only do them at the end of the year though. This is the only customisable one I could find too, but I think you could get a regular medal engraved easily enough.

I have a neighbour who has his own business selling beautiful engraved products. Must let him see this. He could do other running related engraved work I’m sure. There must be a market for those who don’t enter events but still want recognition

Oh please do show him! Seriously, I looked for ages and this is the only one I found where you can put your actual distance and name on it. I think there would be a good market for this.

You summed me up in those last few words, "don't enter events but still want recognition" ;)

Well done on an awesome first gear of running SSF. That medal is richly deserved. 😀 🏅 🎉

Thanks CCM! The first "year"was only 5 or 6 months, but managed to keep it going and do the full following 12 months of this year
