Ready at 5.30am for 6am run with my son. More houses than usual had their lights on but they were soon behind us as we headed for the countryside. The Dark Moon π spread its inky blanket over the fields & it was difficult seeing each other. Very quiet morning. Ran east for awhile into the blackness. At our predetermined point, turned our route westwards towards the breaking dawn. Wasnβt prepared for its beauty, the sunβs rays streaming across the sky with South Downs perfectly silhouetted against the magnificence. Thoroughly enjoyed my first Christmas Day run as it set the tone for the whole enjoyable day. Hope you all had a great day π₯³πππ Merry Xmas

Thanks Irishprincess, itβs a great activity to be enjoying together. The whole family is getting involved & weβre changing our diet & health to suit our improved fitness. Looking forward to the New Year & where our journey takes us. How is your Xmas? ππ
What a magnificent early morning run with your son. I waited till 9 but really impressed by your dedication.
Very nice, and on top of the running experience, you enjoyed the beautiful landscape and your son's companion.
