Hooray - Jinx beaten at last

After struggling a few times over the last couple of weeks finally back on track with a big 9k. My old running route was just a bout passable and so I spent a trouble free 40 mins or so running/scampering around a muddy track followed by another quarter of an hour running home roadwise - overall very pleased as I only had 8k to do and not only did I smash that but did it lugging around a couple of pounds of bog with me - even thought to try the 10 this week (as I wanted to get it in before christmas) but .... knackered - how nice to quit through being tired out as opposed to a hitherto untroublesome part of my anatomy giving way at the 5k mark!

Celebrated with a shower and instantly falling asleep on the sofa - never can understand these people who say that they feel energised by it all - just makes me tired. Anyway - in short a good day!

No wonder you're tired, running through mud. But you did it. Congratulations😊😊

Well done, despite the mud. And I think it was a well earned snooze so no guilt on that front 😂

Brilliant, glad to hear that you had no niggles this time and managed a whole 9k, despite the mud. ☺

Kudos! 👏👏👏👏

Fantastic, well done. I’m with you on the feeling tired and not energised bit! You will definitely hit the 10k before Christmas.
