I love running! I hate having to miss a run! But there are days when my mind is saying no, and my inner teen seems to drag me out before I know it - and for once my inner teen is wiser than my old body 😏
I have had a long period of stopping to walk during runs for no apparent reason at all (I know it happens but this has been very protracted). But today I did 10k with no thought of stopping. It wasn't particularly pretty but it happened. I even had that thing where chunks of the run went by without me registering them and finding myself a lot further along the track than expected! Good job I had my garmin on to prove no shortcuts😀.
Plan is now to do some long slow runs for a few weeks as will be on holiday in and then start the build up to my HM at the end of October when I want to improve my time on last year -shouldn't be too difficult!😂
