Lovely 5k trail run this evening. Pleased with my time too, as I can' t remember the last time I ran this route under 30 mins! I think perhaps my hip/glute strengthening work is starting to pay off!πŸ˜€ Leg raises, clam shells, bridges - definately the way to go!πŸ™‚

Congratulations on completing your 5K trail run in under 30 minutes, yes indeed, those strengthening work excersises have certainly paid off on getting you that sub 30 minute 5k πŸƒ 😊.

Thanks Almorr - not a PB but not likely to get that on this route - it's an up and down traily route in and out of woods and through farmland - probably my favourite route though.πŸ™‚

Speedy Sandra. I’d better get back to those exercises if that’s what they can do .

That's amazing. Go you! I find it really hard to run at that sort of pace on a training run, let alone a trail run!

Me too normally, Linda! Honestly - it's the exercises, I'm sure!πŸ™‚

Very nice work! I am in awe of your times. (Did 5.6K this evening, and was lucky to do under 9 mins/km.)

Well done Sandra, great trail run!

I've been adding planks in too, so hopefully will start to be stronger soon!😊xx

Been engaging the glutes for a while now with some success....

I don't get on with planks! It's good to reap the rewards of our endeavours though, isn't it?!πŸ™‚

Wow, that is fast! I find that I need to run slower on the trails due to the uneven ground and hilly bits ;)
