Just wanted to say that I did another enjoyable 5k this afternoon, in light rain. I didn't want to go out, but once I did, was glad I had!

I haven't got back to my previous pace since I had the IT band problem, but just glad I can continue running! 😄 5k is definitely my happy distance, for now 😄

Spot on! We are our own worst enemies sometimes, thinking we "should" be doing better, going further or faster. These days I'm just glad to be out there doing it, and even enjoying it 😁 Lots more happy running to you. ☔

Me too. I sometimes do an extra km or two and know I can do more, but 5km suits me best of all.

I did Parkrun today and got within 5 seconds of my PB so pretty pleased with that 😆
