Nice evening run.

Went for a nice 5k this evening! Had not set myself a target, just decided to run until comfortable and ready to give up. I made 5.28k and went to cast my vote at the polling station.

Went for 42 minutes including a 5 minute walk as a warm up! Pleased with it and hope to do 7k on Saturday followed by a swim and sauna.

Had you told me in November when I started running that I would be running for nearly 45 minutes, I'd have laughed. Although I did slow down to a brisk walk on a few occasions, still pleased and glad I went.

It’s a great feeling isn’t it? I went for a 5K run yesterday evening. And this evening I just felt like getting out for 30 mins and doing 5K again. I took it nice and easy, and enjoyed it. I’ll take a day off tomorrow and I’m already excited about Parkrun on Saturday. I’m going to do some Parkrun tourism and do a NENDY (Nearest Event Not Done Yet)

Very well done. I tend to just go and run too. We all know what our bodies are capable of. 7k and a swim? Crikey sounds like a proper workout! Keep it up! 😎
