Managed a little run of 2.2k, whilst the youngest was at judo. Things I learned:
1. My legs hate me now.
2. I don't need a knee support as much as I thought, but may have to use one when the distances get longer.
3. Have I missed this? I'm not sure. There were parts where I drifted off, everything went onto autopilot and it was... Great. The rest actually hurt quite a bit.
4. I'm slower than I was. And I don't care.
5. Other runners can teleport, the woman I was following disappeared between one moment and the next. Seriously, it was like a magic trick.
6. I still have faith in hot baths. I'm hoping to renew my acquaintance with post run baths in about ten minutes.
7. It wasn't as bad as I thought, but the jury is out until morning...
So, good (if short) run.
