Finally broke 10K!

So today, I ran the furthest I have ever run, 11.2K (7 miles), which is a great achievement for me! It was a mentally challenging run and didn't pace myself well but I ran it without stopping! It wasn't a race or anything it was just a long run for my half marathon training plan but at least I know that I can run 10K now! I don't want to collect my 10K badge though because my personal rule for myself is that I only earn a badge if you run the distance in an official race. I am planning to run a 10K race after running in the Bath Half Marathon (which is in 3 weeks time!) so I will be claiming my badge then! Onward and upwards! :-D

Congratulations on running 11.6 kilometers in training for your half marathon training plan, it's up to you if you don't want your graduation10 badge and the word GRADUATE10 next to your username until you run a official 10K race, so remember once you do, tell the administrators for your badge and the word GRADUATE10 next to your username.

If that was the case for the majority of runner's, there wouldn't be many graduation 10 runners on the B210K forum, good luck for that 10K race. 😊 🏃🏾

Thanks, can't believe I did it! Had a bit of a blister nightmare though which I need to sort out before race day! Yes, once I have run an official 10K race I will let the administrators know and get my badge! I don't really know why I have that own personal rule to be honest...I think it's because I started with Couch25K and the first time I broke the actual 5K distance was in an official 5K race and that seems to have stuck in my head for my other races too hahaha! :-D

Great run for you, well done. What a challenge only claiming badge at a race. Will you be claiming your half marathon badge first 🤣🤣
