Just over a year since starting C25K, I’ve finally run my first 10K! Thanks to Ju-Ju’s Magic Plan and reading all the inspirational posts on this forum, I knew when I woke this morning that today would be the day...
Beautiful, calm and slightly chilly conditions, just perfect! My pace was slightly slower than normal but fairly steady and I was never in any doubt that I’d complete the distance. Much of the route included my old C25K stomping ground - to think that this time last year I was probably working up to running for 3 minutes at a stretch!! Unbelievable!!
I’m feeling proud and excited in equal measure and feeling much more confident about the Manchester 10K just five weeks away. 😀
Enjoy your running everyone - this forum is brilliant! 🏃♀️🏃
