Feeling so happy ... and a little smug. I graduated C25K in July and have been working through Ju Ju’s 10k plan. This morning was all set for my 10k. And everything aligned perfectly - beautiful day, sunny and cool, not too humid; legs felt good, breathing was great; route was lovely - with dog walkers and digger drivers giving me encouragement!!
I felt such a sense of achievement at the end - I could hardly run for 60 seconds back in May and here I am running for over an hour!
Thanks for all the great posts on the forum - I don’t post much but I read all the great things other people are doing and get great inspiration from you all.
Volunteering at Parkrun tomorrow and possibly looking for 10k races to sign up for!

Well done on your first 10k! (Says she, sounding experienced, when I’ve only just graduated and done 2 so far myself! 😂😂😂) It’s a great feeling isn’t it. Glad everything worked out perfectly for your big day. Enjoy your celebrations! 😃🥂🍾🏅🏆
Thanks mountaindreamer - it really is a great feeling. I love runs where everything seems effortless. Well done you on consolidating your 10ks - what next?!
