A very slow 9k yesterday, well over an hour, had some veggie Percy pigs to keep me going. I had a brief spurt of energy and managed the last 3km at faster negative splits.
Felt trashed when I got home, but I recovered much,much quicker than after my first 8k. Training is defo paying dividends. Also been running up a few hills.
This morning l am feeling fairly pain free! Strength training today and park run tomorrow.
The magic 10k is within sight.πββοΈ

I too had sustenance on my 9k this week, in the form of jelly babies! Definitely helped (but not scoffing the rest of the packet when I got home! π)
