Last night, I hit the magic number - My FIRST EVER 10k in 1hr 01m
It is like my C25K graduation all over again. Just a few short weeks ago with many 5k's under my belt, I turned my attention to 10k. God it was daunting!
Double the distance of what I had become accustomed to, double the running time I was used to, but last night the legs came good and just kept on going.
I had done the time, but was the distance right. I quickly put my route into my route planner . . . . . 10.28km
YIPPEE, I'm in the 10k club!

Congratulations Julian!👏👏. 🎓Brilliant time too🤩🤩 I can only dream at the moment of approaching that glorious day once again🤣🤣.
So will it be a half or full marathon next? I’m sure you can do it!👍🏃♂️🏃♂️
Well done to you! Congratulations!😊🎓🍾🥂🎉🏅👏🏻👍☀️🏃🏻🤸♂️🏃🏻🤸♂️🏃🏻🤸♂️If you stay until next week on the podium I may manage to join you! But I will definitely not run the distance in your time. The routes I like are hilly and for me that means slow. Perhaps you run at your whizzy speed even up hills!
I was very lucky 61, a nice straight, flat route on a good surface. All three played a big part. Good luck with your final push and I will save you a place on the podium . . . you can push me off if you like
