So last night saw my weekly run at the QEOP...set off for 10k but as i had to change my route i underestimated how far away i was so ended up running 11.5k - it felt amazing all the way... one of those runs that just click.
Now to the 10k PB - 1hr 8 mins - that's an impressive 4 minutes off the last one.
I did not set out on a fast one - in fact only 1 of the 10k was fast - i somehow ran it in 5.06! don't even know how and i certainly didn't feel it...the rest of them were 6.50's - but i will take that. I have been buzzing all night and still riding that high this morning.
What i am most amazed with is how well i have adapted to the distance, how well i can handle the hills now (all be it they are not huge) and just how i can run that distance in general. Time to sign up for a 10k and get some bling!
Happy running everyone x

I now love the longer runs and not scared by 10k. Took some time, but so worth it. I am also considering entering a 10k race...Happy running. πͺπββοΈπ
