Oh it’s only 3.5k I thought cheerily to myself, hardly worth going out for..... huh!!! Famous last words!! I am so glad it was ONLY 3.5k this morning.
Maybe should have left a second rest day after the 7k on Tuesday , whatever it was my legs were heavy today
However I did run ‘naked‘ today thinking as it was early and quiet I would be able to listen to the sounds of nature around me .......... couldn’t hear a bloody thing above me puffing and panting. I’ve thought my breathing was getting less noisy lately but I’ve realised I just can’t usually hear it over my music.😒
Still I managed to keep a fairly steady pace , slowing slightly in the second half of the run and did get a couple of small PBs so I’m happy with it. And that’s another one ticked off!!!

Yeah I’ve found that. I just seem to settle into the longer ones and keep going. Oh well perhaps I’m meant to be a long distance runner not a speedy one 😁☺️
Ha, Well done limberlou, you're right, extra rest after the longer runs will be helpful, but I always feel like it's a treat for my legs on the short run, they must be expecting to have to keep going, and then it's over and they love it😉...
I’ve been asthmatic since my flu bout in January- never had it before. I’m hoping it’s going to go away as I’m having problems with the inhalers now. I’ve got 3 more weeks then I try without them. Hope the pollen and heat have eased off by then 🤞
