For eight weeks been doing jujus plan, mainly time not distance. Today was scheduled for my last run.
When I got up didn't feel right (went fishing yesterday) but weather forecast for 3 days just showed a morning window, so decided to just go and see how I would do.
Did the time 60 mins and 8km!.
Quite chuffed.
Struggled at 2k and again 5k but just kept going and finished with a sport at the end.

Congratulations on running 8K in a hour, looking at that graph, that is about the same pace I ran 10K on Wednesday, not long now until you will run 10K and be a Graduate10, good luck. 👍 🏃🏾
Started C25k Sept 2018 age 75 aiming for GNR 5k last year but missed that. Hope to do it this year and just did juju as an extra plan. I'm now 77 and hope to carry on into my 80s, so don't want to push too far and wear my knees out. They are ok just now.
There are not many running events on this year because of Covid 19, but may I invite you to take part on this forum to the Saturday morning "Virtual 5K parkruns" they are taking place at around the same time as as the official ones, 9am in England and Wales, 9.30 in Scotland and Ireland, so if you want to, you are welcome, just run a 5K near to where you live.
Well done, you are not the only septuagenarisn (a person in their 70's) on this forum, I graduated two years ago next week 3 weeks after my 72nd birthday.
Congrats on that. I have a number of times been going to ask how many 70 year olds there are and even how many 80s.
In the mid 70s tried to start running again, no plans then, but too much work. Did about 3 runs on a lunchtime with 2 friends, only one carried on and he did marathons all over the world.
Lol, 1959, I only ran when I was at Primary school then I took up cycling which I have not completely given up, I don't cycle as much as I used to, one of the reasons I started C25K.
The oldest person I have heard of starting C25K was 83 years of age, many graduate from C25K but irrespective of age you don't hear of them again, they don't all go onto running 10Ks or further.
