So where have I been hiding and what happened at Bestwood yesterday?
Whow! That looks nasty! I bet it’s sore. Hope you get better soon
Crikey that was some fall. Hope you have a speedy recovery.
Ouch!
Oh that looks a nasty one Mike. Take care of yourself!
So what happened before Xmas. Well I got the dreaded man flu. So I was unable to go out with a bang on New year's Eve at the 3 villages 10k. Man flu and OAPs don't go together so I gave my entry of 3Vs to "K" my PT and Physio therapist with instructions "not to let me down". I have previously described K as mid 30s long blond hair and a TRI athlete and drop dead gorgeous.. Well my name is still on the unofficial finish list as 57.58 mins . Definitely my best time for many years. Thanks K. To be continued..
So this Wednesday I found my self (as usua)l on the massage couch and I got a good telling " stop sitting round feeling sorry for yourself...... get off your arse and start running again. " Well Thursday morning it was passable so at 0700 I went for a little run round the village. 79.58 mins later Tom Tom said I had done 9.85km. pleased with that I had a high protein breakfast and wondered about the rest of the week.so Friday at ,0730 I went for a swift (for me,) 5k. Sub 36 says T T so I am happy enough to have another big breakfast,. So Rita says " it's Bestwoods 1st anniversary run tomorrow. Well I fell twice last year its got to be 3rd time lucky. And possibly thev the Clumber park 10 k on Sunday. The rest of the week end is history Yes admin I know I want "too much too quickly" but that's me allover. Mike
Ow! That looks bad. Glad to hear it's not sore, but it certainly looks it. Falling over is one of those things I'm afraid, but do be careful!
