Today I thought I'd listen to NRC's 'Running & Yoga' guided run. I told my husband he could go on ahead and come back to me when he was ready, then I put BBC6 on and started the run.
I was actually a bit disappointed by it, just the running coach and a yoga coach chatting for 25 minutes. To summarise what they said, yoga helps running and running helps yoga and breathing is really important. I was expecting a bit more insight than 'do some breathing and stretches when you finish your run'. Plus they talked over a lot of music I'd have liked to listen to.
At the end of the' guided' run I carried on for another 15 minutes with Mr OBK so at least I got another 5km under my belt. Next time I think I'll stick to Coach Bennett or Coach Cory.

I’ve had a couple of guided runs where they just seem to chatter a lot but i love the ones where they ask a question to give me something to think about
If I didn't like chatter I wouldn't listen to Coach B In every other guided run I've felt encouraged and/or that I've learned something new or thought about something I haven't considered before. Today's just didn't quite hit the spot for me.
Oh I’m sorry you were disappointed, but thank you for doing some team research! But well done on your run - I hope you breathed and stretched when you got home 😊.
