Hello everyone, myself, and our team have decided to do another 10k plan that you can join 🏅
We will be running a 6 week plan that can either get you to 10k or use it to increase your time. I will post once a week on here and give you pointers as to what you need to be doing. I can be as prescriptive as you would find useful to get you to that 10k. This is really exciting and a great way to get that 10k graduate badge 🏅
Each week I will post a YouTube video that will tell you what you need to do as well as a post, and each week we will have a new topic for you to think about that will help you in your running journey. We will also be having some guests on the way too... familiar faces .... I will keep that as a surprise 🕺🏽
If you are interested in joining please reply BELOW and I will add your name. I will be launching this on the 1st of December. It will then be on a rolling 6 week programme. Never a better incentive to get that Christmas Day run in.....
I cant wait to get this going again and I hope you may find it helpful,
Juju

If you click on "Posts" then look at the "Pinned Posts" on the right hand side, click on "View More" then scroll down to the C25K to 10K posts that start about 10 months ago. There's a post for each week telling you what to do (I like clear, firm instructions!)
I pulled all the info out and put it in a chart on the fridge so I have the satisfaction of ticking off each box as I complete a run.
Judging by the weather forecast, today's run after work will be a wet AND dark one.
Oh i’s like to join in if I can. Graduated C25k a few weeks ago and running 3 x week since then. Doing 30 mins and Parkrun. Will it be suitable for me do you think?
oo oo oo me me me (jumps up and down whilst repeatedly putting arm in the air) would love this been looking for something similar but not found anything
Me too please. I’ve completed Bridge to 5k but as I’m very slow I don’t cover the distance. My 60 minute run was only 7k. I need some more structure I think.
I have looked at the dates and the plan and I can see it is all going to fall apart for me in December because I have already signed up at parkrun to be Barcode Scanner and tailwalker on two dates, then I will be away which may or may not cause running disruption!
Hello. Can I join this group? I've been running park runs regularly since completing C25K eighteen months ago, but haven't been able to improve my speed much. Having decided that 5k in 30 minutes was clearly out of reach, I decided I needed a different challenge so I've just signed up to the Fulham 10k which takes place in March 2018. The furthest I've ever run without stopping is 6.5K. It would be good to have some moral support!
Oh, please, please do stay around! I was starting to think I was the only graduate to consider that they'll never hit the mythical 5K in 30 mins. Truth be told, I get a bit demoralised when I read all the posts of the sub 30 mins runs before C25K graduation. 6.5K is brilliant - perhaps I'll follow your lead and aim for that as my next goal.
I’m not even going to try to do a 30min 5k.....if it happens it happens....at my age I ain’t gonna break any records. In the meantime I’m only interested in pushing the boundaries distant wise so 10k here I come! 😊
5k 30min should not be the target. I mean, what's the end? 5k in 20, 15 maybe? Lol
I can do it with very little effort because of my body weight (moderate) and height (above average, long stride) regardless of my age (53) but still have people overlap me with ease, as they should.
Fulham 10k? Not sure where you practice but Battersea park is a top place for that distance with so many lanes, majority of which are flat. If you do go, try and avoid weekend crowds, l normally target early morning weekdays with hardly anyone there!
I’ve graduated from C25k and agreed to run a 10k in June! Done a few ParkRuns in about 33mins so I’m seeking support for two things please:
Increasing speed
Increasing distance
Don’t mind which way round and welcome advice as long as I can still do my ParkRun (such an achievement and never thought I would EVER be able to do one from never running 10 weeks previously!)
Asked for advice and everyone came back with your programme so just tell me what I need to do
