My Dad (83) went to hospital last Thursday with difficulty breathing. It got worse and worse and he passed away yesterday. It was horrible, beyond. The last two days have been the hardest of my life, he was on a breathing machine (CPAP) fighting for his breath. I'm not sure how I can ever get over what he went through. Am I supposed to remember the good days and blank the last two days? Still in shock.
I’m so sorry for your loss. As the saying goes ‘time is a great healer’ the rawness of the last few days will fade & the good memories will take over in time.
I'm so sorry to hear your sad news. Having lost both my parents an niece within years of each other all I can recommend is take your time and get strength from friends and family. Dealing with grief is a very personal thing. Happy memories certainly helped with me xxx
