So down.

this year had my darling wife survived it would have been 50 years marriage.

Cancer is a non discriminating ***&%^$, of an illness. It doesn't give a *%^%%$

who it hurts or the vast amount of grievence it lets friends and family have.

I so wish I had something physical I could blame and get my revenge on..

But its so cowardly,it has to hide out of sight, and strike when you're at you'r lowest ebb..

My very best wishes and hopes for anyone suffering this illness.

Aww 2stroke I really do feel for you ìts awful to lose your beloved wife and best friend to such a horrific illness you must feel lost...but please don't feel lost or lonely that's what we are all here for cancer sucks big time and I know if love could of saved your lovely wife she would still be around because the way you describe your lovely wife I can feel how much you love and adore her

Here if needed

Nat xx

You are so right 2stroke, cancer is a truly horrible disease and it robbed you of your darling wife.

Could you mark the occasion of 50 years married, a milestone, in someway? Perhaps lay some golden roses in a special place. Treat yourself to a small bottle of champagne or bucks fizz, just a suggestion. My Neil enjoyed a lager and I toast him with lager on special dates and plenty of others too! It's not for everyone 2stroke.

Think about something that made you both smile and/or laugh and revisit that if you can. Try to choose something you enjoy.

Thinking of you, do take care,

Lottie

ITS a ******* OF AN ILLNESS, I promised my wife to tend to her at home with family around ,not in hospital.

which i did, even though watching her go from a healthy 11 to12 stone,to a skeleton at 5 stone.DROVE ME INSANE enough to lead me to a stroke about 3 months later.

still trying to come to terms with it.

So, So sorry about your dear loss.

and my very best wishes to you for the future..
