Have you any thoughts or plans for the next 3months?

Me, well I am desperately trying to stay well and get back to being 'normal'.

I hope 2023 will be a healthy and positive one for us all<3

My aunt asked me a similar question tonight. My response was to work on my self-esteem and steeling myself from what others might think of me.

I came across this quote last week that I absolutely love. Here it is:

“Sometimes you have to completely fall apart and lose yourself before you can figure out who you really are.” – Anonymous

I have found this to be so true! Several months after mom died, I was in such bad shape that I did something completely out of character for me, something that scared the living daylights out of me. I had completely lost myself, but now I'm well on my way to figuring out who I really am!

Hi @Norw

Love the quote and I think you're right, but hopefully we don't lose sight of everything else that matters.

hi Chloe been really tough for you but hopefully the new year brings good health. I know what I do want over the next few months but in reality could be longer turn 50 on Saturday so hopefully half a century brings me some peace.

I love going to the theatre & cinema. So I’ve decided to cut back on other things & go more often. So I’ve booked 5 shows & hoping my family will treat me to another one for my birthday 🤞.

I’ve also decided to throw a party. It’ll be our last one. We always used to have parties back in the day, in happier times. Friends still talk about them. So I decided to have one last one. I think it’s taken everyone by surprise including me!!

We have to make big decisions this year, my husband’s health isn’t good so a move is probably on the cards, which I don’t want to do. I love it here. I do a lot of voluntary work which has made such a difference to the elderly folk who live in the village ( not just me of course, it’s team work). I get as much from it as they do. so to have some good things to focus on is important for me.

Wow Caza,

You really have made some decisions and fabulous ones they are too!

Sorry to know of your husbands health but I hope you can move close to where you are, so that you can continue your good work.
