i suffer fron anxiety and my pulse is just over 100 is this normal and does anyone else have this problem

I went to tesco once and it felt like my heart was in my throat. I could feel the blood pimping harder around my body. I went back home , to somewhere I felt safe

If you're anxious and tense then your heart rate will be high.

Hi its true when you are anxious your pulse , blood pressure is always higher

I don't take either of mine though as I no it would just add extra fear

I go to the GP , as I have high blood pressure , on meds that sorts it out , but I leave them to take it

If you are really worried , have a chat with them , they will put your mind at ease

is your pulse always like that or only when your anxious? i always check my pulse and blood pressure so know whats normal for me and when im having an ibs flare up or im really anxious my pulse goes up in the 90's and sometimes over and makes me feel so rough i fel like im gonna faint esp as i suffer from low blood pressure. x

i have just been perscribed sertraline tablets for anxiety but am affraid of the side effects as i have taken quite a few different tablets and all gave me bad side effects i go to see people from the mental health dpt. in 2 weeks and think i should wait to speck to them before i start to take them i live alone and have no family or friends and am affraid if anything happens during the day or night with the side effects
